We are happy to introduce you our new home, called ZERO!!!
Zero is a Renault Trafic Carthago, born in 1990 in Germany and registered in Italy in 2011. We are not sure about how many km it has. The MOT is valid until 8/19 and is homologate for 4 people and it has two beds.
How did we find Zero?!
After couple of months spent in Italy waiting for Alex driving license to get done we were looking for a Van without success, so few days ago we were about to leave Turin to go somewhere in Germany and buy the right one. The 24th night at 10pm Alex has realized that his practical driving test it was not Thursday the 25th but Thursday the 18th, so he basically missed it!!! We were both so pissed off. The following day early in the morning we went to the office and we have tried to get Alex on the list for the same day exam, but unfortunately this was not possible and we went back again at the office the day after to book a new date. At that point we have discovered that there was a wait of 3 weeks for the next exam, which it will be the 15th of Feb. This was sad for us because we are literally stuck in Italy only for this holy driving license. The same day in the afternoon we are going to view a Van in one of the most esoteric district of Turin, San Mauro. It was a fucking raining and foggy day, the worst in the last two months but the atmosphere it was so charming. Luckily Luciano, Alex's dad and our mechanic, lent us his "Panda" the vintage, classic Italian car that everybody is dreaming to own at least once in their lives. We stop over a Bakery to get some typical Piedmontese pizza called "Foccaccia" and we drove under the rain, in the traffic jam between beautiful bridges, churches and hills. We were not really happy about the add on Subito.it because from the pictures the van looks really a shity one but the selling price was only of € 2000. This is the only reason because we went to the view, after more than a week of reading that add everyday online. Sometimes we need to reach the bottom to see things in a different way! As soon we seen the Renault Trafic we got in love with it! And with a lot of imagination we have seen how it could be soon! We felt a bit under pressure, there was another couple viewing the van at the same time of us and they were looking interested too. At the point Alex and I decided to give the owner € 400 as deposit without calling Luciano our mechanic, because there is not time to wait and check the engine, so we were hoping in the best. We are not able to be happy yet, everything happened so fast that we didn't even realized we now have a new home!!! We always believed that 1+1=0 because sometimes in two we cannot make one brain, so that's why we have decided to call our van Zero, which is the result of our union. The day after in the morning, Saturday the 27th of Jan 2018 we are officially becoming the new owners of the vehicle. We went at the agency to change the ownership with the lady Anna, ex owner. For the cost of € 250 everything is done. Anna gave us the keys and she decided to keep her insurance until we put Zero in a safe place. Today has been the first day of works. Luciano is looking after the mechanical parts and when everything will be fixed we will go to Rome, where Akuna’s family will help us with the changes. Aunt Andreina will renew the upholstery, uncle Massimo will take care of the rusty part and Riccardo her dad will change the floor and much more. We will keep you update! Good night
